The Goal.

If sustainably developed, these resources can provide more economic opportunities and more affordable housing, adaptation and resiliency to the changing climate and global markets, and a higher quality of life and greater well-being for all Californians.

The Problem.

Despite critical natural resources and commodities flowing from the farms, ranches, forests and streams of these beautiful and productive areas, rural CA’s assets and contributions are not always fully appreciated because of geographic distances and small populations.
